Many models rarely get discovered by losing a modeling contest, but unlike others this plat formed Liu and her story to the cover of Chinese FHM. She first appeared on the runway in 2007 but in Spring 2009 she was in seven major shows. In 2009, she was the first Asian woman to appear in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Spring 2010 was her first most successful season in 70 shows and became the 2nd most requested model for the season. She signed with Estee Lauder and is ranked 6th on models.com Top 50 Models Women.
